“AVIATION JET CONSULTANTS (PTY) LTD" was established in 1980 by Laurence Nicholls, a Commercial Fixed Wing and Turbine Helicopter Pilot. Prior to Emigrating to South Africa from the United Kingdom, Laurence read for a BSc at University of Manchester Institution of Science and Technology. In addition to Laurence maintaining a career focus on aircraft sales, he also has extensive experience in aviation consulting and management. What most people do not know about Laurence is that he possesses significant entrepreneurial experience in all facets of corporate aviation, and has been and continues to be the foundation of success for Aviation Jet Consultants and its clients.

Debbie gained her experience in the Aviation industry from “The Pioneer” in Aviation, John Nash – revered by many; a true Entrepreneur and genius in all aspects of Commercial Aviation. He was the first to be awarded the representation for Bell Helicopters Textron, Robinson Helicopters, Lockheed, Gulfstream, Swearingen, supplied Smiths Simulators to South African Airways , etc. Prior to joining Aviation Jet Consultants, Debbie managed her own Public Relationship Company and Recruitment Company. Debbie utilizes her expertise and creativity to promote Aviation Jet Consultants and service excellence. Debbie keeps Aviation Jet Consultants dynamic by staying abreast of new marketing trends and tools. Integrity, professionalism, and competence are central to Debbie’s business attributes. Debbie’s knowledge and ability in serving her clients are surpassed only by her excellence in character.

The sale or purchase of an aircraft is a detailed process that requires a very good understanding of market conditions, aircraft availability, associated costs and maintenance expectations.

We sell Aircraft – Not Intelligence . Our unrelenting focus is on buying and selling business aircraft in the international marketplace. This process requires the utmost in deliberation and risk Management. While we are labeled as Brokers ; We are Facilitators who bring the purchase and sale of an aircraft to Contract. We accept compensation from clients who hire us exclusively, thus eliminating any potential for conflict of interest.

We have the expertise to evaluate your needs and provide you with exclusive representation, whether you are buying or selling. In addition to Corporate Jets and Turbine Helicopters, we can supply Brand New and used Airbus Aircraft, and Brand New and used Boeing Aircfraft. We will require a clear mandate for Brand New Aircraft and we appreciate building a relationship with the End User.
  • Market Research – Our Young, enthusiastic and dynamic Research Team is in constant touch with major sources of aircraft currently on the market and we have a wide network and data base of Buyers and Sellers including USA, South America, Canada, West and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and The Australasias. The majority of our business is conducted internationally.
  • Introducing Aircraft - Every client has different needs and priorities. For some, speed is the most important factor, others are willing to wait for an opportunity for a specific aircraft or better financial terms.
  • Negotiation Process – Skillful negotiation representing your interests.
  • Letter of Intent – We ensure all terms are clear and favorable. An Escrow Account is opened.
  • Inspection Process – We facilitate a pre-purchase inspection with an Independent Company who provides an in depth report.
  • Technical Acceptance – We ensure security interests on the aircraft are released and all documentation are in order.
  • Acceptance Flight – Pre-delivery acceptance flight takes place.
  • Closing – Together with Escrow, we ensure all documentation are in order, complete and correct, titles are clear and liens are released.
  • Take Delivery – Acceptance Certificate is signed by Purchaser, Certificate of Airworthiness is issued, Application for Registration are on the plane.
  • Post Closing Critique – Complete file for transaction is ready to keep in a safe place.
