NEW BIOFUEL PASSES AIRLINER TEST 

A fuel mix of 50/50 conventional Jet A1 and fuel derived from the seeds of the Jatropha tree has passed its first flight test, in a new B747-400.  The flight lasted about two hours and several tests were conducted including shutting down and restarting the test engine.

The factors affecting today’s helicopter market and how to deal with them are far more complex than can be explained in a few paragraphs.  So too are the dynamics of the relationships that exist between brokers and their clients.  All of us who earn a living via the helicopter industry are facing challenges that heretofore have no precedent.  I believe they will be overcome, but I also believe it will take lots time and perseverance.
